We all have millions of thoughts in our mind. We remember some of them and forget the rest. But how we can get aware of our thoughts and how we can get benefits from it?

When we come back from an event or an occasion or something, we always have thoughts like the event was great, that lady was so beautiful, the host was kind, food was so delicious, etc. Can you imagine that each and every thought has power to change your beliefs and emotions? Whenever we take any action it based on our beliefs and emotions. So always challenge your beliefs and emotions so it can grow brightly.

So now we come back to the topic, “Power of thoughts”. We don’t even know what kind of thoughts we are having in our mind, so knowing about the powerful thoughts is a long way off. Every thought has power whether it’s negation or positive.

We need to observe our thoughts to know what kind of energy is flowing in our mind and once we know the energy (negative or positive). We can make a choice to change or improve.

In the beginning it is difficult to observe thoughts but the easiest way to do this is “writing”. Write each and every thought of your mind on paper. Paper and pen is important because the speed of thoughts is tremendous and difficult to match with hand writing. We have millions of thoughts in our mind but in a much disorganized manner and when we start writing in organized manner, our thoughts get slow down and prepare to come with organized manner. It doesn’t work over night, it takes practice.

Question is how much thoughts we can write on a paper?

We want to write what we want to read and when you start writing your thoughts, you start filter them and try to hide negative thoughts from yourself. You don’t want to read it or you can say you don’t want to aware of it. But if you see, you are already aware of it and that’s why you are avoiding it. But avoiding is not the solution, facing the reality of thoughts is the only solution.

Write each and every thought without avoiding and if you don’t want to write it, don’t even think it.

When you are paying attention to your thoughts and writing them down, you are meeting a person you have never met before. We like to meet new people often, we enjoy talking to them and getting to know about them. But when it comes to us, we are often afraid to spend time alone.

Just as to understand another person, we have to spend time alone with them, in the same way, to understand ourselves, we have to spend time alone with ourselves. And when we are alone, we often fall into many thoughts. So we have to write those thoughts on paper, this process helps us to know quality of thoughts we are having. This process will not only help you to know about yourself but also help you to become an effective speaker, building confidence, improve productivity and many more.

So start writing your first thought and if it is powerful one, share it with others.
